Different computer systems have different features, which can be used in a number of ways specific to the users expectations. A PC in comparison to a Mac, has a number of various features e.g. The operating systems on a Mac operating is more stable than the PC, however multiple people do not like the layout of this operating system. The PC’s operating system is not as stable as the manufacturers build in pre-installed software into the computers although it does not offer any leverage to the user.

Security is one of the various feature available to the users, many people use PC’s that have Windows installed. This makes the computer more vulnerable to viruses in comparison to Macs, they are much less vulnerable to any security threats which would be much safer if being used by a company, which would be a good choice to keep anything confidential and secure.

The Mac can be limited to the amount of software that can be installed, but with the help of Boot camp allowing Windows programmes to be installed and enables them to run. With the PC, many different types of software and programmes can be installed easily. Meaning that both PC and Mac can could be used in the company as they perform the same jobs in a similar way.

Price is an influential area when choosing between a PC and a Mac. The PC is cheaper than the Mac, although some people believe that the money spent on the Mac is worth it as there are not as many issues with security etc. In a large company the cost of many Macs would be considerably high, therefore the PC’s would be cheaper to buy.  However looking at the long term view Macs would better in terms of saving money due to the reduces amount of repairs etc. that are needed, making them much more reliable than PC’s.

Overall the Mac would be the better option out of the two operating systems for the company to use. Even though there is a high cost, they are much more reliable etc.
